It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia Lynn Hill Bivens announces her passing at the young age of 51 years on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
She was born on February 21, 1967 in Pender County; the only daughter of the late Naomi Bond Beacham. She is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, the Reverend Bruce Bond and Lyda Mae Bond and numerous aunts, and uncles.
Cynthia is survived by her best friend and husband of 28 years, Eddie Wayne Bivens of the home; her aunts and uncles, Juanita and Mitchell Padgett of Willard, Rebecca and Bobby Herring of Mt. Olive and Jenny Hill of Wallace; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Rouse of Wallace; step father, Michael Beacham of Burgaw and numerous extended family and friends that loved her dearly.
Cynthia was a devoted wife and loving niece. She enjoyed the simplest things in life but her greatest joy was spending time with Eddie who was the love of her life. She was a hard worker who enjoyed helping her husband in his business, E.W.B. Heat & Air. Cynthia will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha with the Reverend Bert Pickett officiating.

My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love is truly difficult and I know Cynthia will be missed. Please know our Heavenly Father holds out promises that can help us with our sorrow. One such promise is that death soon will be done away with forever (Revelation 21:4) and another promise is that "there is going to be a resurrection." (Acts 24:15) I pray these promises from God, who cannot lie, (Titus 1:2) bring you comfort.
