Funeral Services

Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home specializes in many types of services. We strive to provide our services with a personal touch honoring the beliefs and traditions of each family. We wish that each service would be a true reflection of the life that has been lived.

Our services include:

Complete funeral services, including visitation at our funeral home or another location

Traditionally, the funeral will be a Complete Funeral Service. This includes a family or public viewing of your loved one. Following this will be a service, typically at the funeral home, in the church, or facility of choice. This would be followed by the graveside service and interment/ground burial or above ground entombment of the casketed remains. Most cemeteries require an outer burial container be used to encase the casket when buried, to help prevent sinking of earth covering the grave. The outer container may or may not be designed to seal. An outer container designed to seal is referred to as a vault. Neither is required for entombment.

Traditional funeral service followed by cremation

This would typically include everything listed with the complete service with the exception of the graveside services. The cremation would be performed as the final disposition following the funeral service. After the cremation the cremains will be given to the next of kin or may be buried in a cemetery if the family desires.

Graveside Service Only
The Graveside Service typically will include everything listed in the complete service with the exclusion of a service in our chapel, church, or other location.
