Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Pitt Finley, 68, of Wallace left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Thursday evening, February 22, 2018 from her home.
She was born on August 4, 1949 in Greenwood, SC; the daughter of the late Joseph Burton and Jettie Crawford Pitt.
Beth is survived by her husband of 44 years, Lewis Finley of the home; their children, Kris't Sloan and husband, Ben of Wallace, LeAn Rich and husband, David of Greenville, SC and Jon Finley of Wallace; grandchildren, Kaedon Sloan, Sophie Sloan and Griffin Rich; brother, Joe Pitt, Jr. and wife, Linda of Blair, SC and numerous family and friends that loved her dearly.
Beth was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and sister. She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family. Prior to her retirement, Beth helped operate a small printing business in Wallace. She enjoyed retirement, shopping and spending time with her family. With a gentle spirit and generous heart, Beth loved people and her Lord. She was a Christian woman who demonstrated her faith in the way she lived her life. Beth will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm on Sunday. February 25, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Ben and Kris't Sloan.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 25, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Philip Siebbeles officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha, NC
Casketbearers will be Jon Finley, Andy Pitt, Joe Pitt, Jr. Tyler Pitt, David Rich and Ben Sloan.

I am saddened to hear of Beth's passing. Trion GA folks still remember yall. My sons, Jon and Jeff Ledbetter and daughter,Laura send their sympathy also. Beth was one of
the kindest ladies I have ever known. I was honored to be called her friend. Y'all are in my prayers. God bless y'all!
