Walter Franklin Baltezegar, age 78, of Wilmington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 2, 2018.
He was born August 16, 1940 in Wilmington to the late Walter Vance Baltezegar and Dorothy Mae Stokley Baltezegar. He married the love of his life, Frances, and together they raised three children Keith, Brent, and Kimberly. A member of Northside Baptist Church, he was a devout Christian who loved Jesus with all his heart. Frank worked as a truck driver and, after his retirement, an Enterprise rental car driver. He was an avid gardener and loved spending time with his grandchildren and pets.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Kimberly B. Scott and brother, Odell Baltezegar.
Left to remember him are his wife, Frances Baltezegar; sons, Keith Baltezegar and his wife Kimberly and Brent Baltezegar; brothers, Charles Baltezegar and his wife Gena, Dennis Baltezegar, J. R. Baltezegar, and Jeff Baltezegar and his wife Jeanette; sisters, Jeanna Baltezegar and Tina Baltezegar; grandchildren, Alexandra Schaivone and her husband Nick and Savannah Baltezegar; son-in-law, Chris Scott and his wife Tonia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Northside Baptist Church.
Funeral at 1:30PM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Northside Baptist Church. Pastor Kenny Chinn and Pastor Rob Strickland will officiate.
Burial will follow the funeral at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Garrett Baltezegar, Robert Baltezegar, Daniel Baltezegar, Danny Baltezegar, Kendale Potter, and James Ruddell.

Frances and family, We are so sorry for the loss of Frank, such a sweet and gentle person. Can't help but think of the joyous reunion of him and Kimmie. God's love is amazing. So thankful for sweet memories. Will be praying for all in the days and weeks ahead. Much love.
