Stedman Harrell Hall, age 79, of Wallace left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Monday, November 26, 2018 from Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
He was born on September 12, 1939 in Pender County and was the son of the late Stedman Billy and Essie Harrell Hall. He was also predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children, Judith Matthews Hall and his brother, Donald Hall.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 23 years, Sharon Wood Hall; his children, Harrell Brower Hall and wife Linda of Virginia, Angel Hall Phillips and husband Warren of Selma, NC, Cindy Hall Wilcox and husband George of Lumberton and Danny Keith Hall of Kentucky; grandchildren, Bridgette Hall, Adam Hall, April Tucker (Jake), Candice Hall, Jessie Hall, Joshua Phillips (April), Garett Phillips (Christa), Brett Phillips (Megan), Alexandria Walters (Adam), and Zachary Wilcox; 12 great grandchildren; step-children, Jennifer Norris (Greg) and their children, Gunnar and Gage and Kristie Walker; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hall of Penderlea; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Lillian Wood of Teachey; his fur babies, Molly, Sam and Leo and numerous extended family and friends that loved Harrell dearly.
Harrell was a loving husband and caring father and grandfather. He was a simple man who was loved and respected by all who knew him. Having a caring heart and generous spirit, he was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. To Harrell, no one was a stranger. He loved people and was loved in return. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and his fur babies. Harrell was known as “friend” to many and was a true gift from God. He will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew Harrell Hall.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with Pastor Leo Bracken officiating.
Burial will follow at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery, Wallace, NC.
Casketbearers will be Joshua Phillips, Garett Phillips, Brett Phillips, Adam Hall, Zachary Wilcox, and Greg Norris.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1pm to 2pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be given to Pet Friends of Duplin County, PO Box 152, Wallace, NC 28466 or Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Sometimes there are no words that can really express the pain that we feel when someone so special leaves us. Harrell will remain forever in our heart as we look to our Heavenly Father for comfort and peace. 2 Corinthians 1:2,3; John 6:40. Extending our deepest condolences to the family.
