Timothy “Tim” Allen Woodcock, 48, of Wallace left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Monday, August 6, 2018 from UNC Chapel Hill.
He was born on June 21, 1970 in Pender county and was the son of the late Davis and Peggy Woodcock. He was also predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Maria Thompson.
Tim was manager of Piggly Wiggly of Wallace for numerous years until his illness. Everyone loved and respected him. He was a member of Kingdom Builders of Wallace and loved his church family.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his best friend and fiancé of 14 years, Nancy Davis of Wallace; his daughters, Kendall Woodcock of Orlando, FL., Bailey Davis and Jenna Davis, both of Wallace; brothers, Tony Woodcock and fiancé, Windy Chavis of Burgaw, John Woodcock of Wilmington, Robbie Woodcock of Carolina Beach and Shelton Harrell of Wilmington; sister, Laura Justice and husband, Larry of Burgaw; nieces and nephews, Shannon Lanning and husband, Chris, Stephanie Justice, Cory Justice and wife, Jessica, Shellie Harrell, Christian Woodcock, Heather Woodcock and John Ford; his canine companion, “Laci” and numerous great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved Tim dearly.
To know Tim was to love him. He was caring and honest as well as humble and totally selfless; always thinking of others before himself. Being a beloved father, brother, uncle and friend, his life was dedicated to God and his family. Nothing was more important to Tim than Nancy and all three girls. Before his illness, Tim was a hard worker who never complained, but would always get the job done. He enjoyed being outside and spending time with family and friends. With his love for others and his keen sense of humor, Tim developed enduring friendships that sustained him through the dark days of his illness. Tim was, without a doubt, a true gift and blessing from God. He will surely be missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Kingdom Builders with his pastor, Brad Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday, one hour prior to the service at Kingdom Builders in Wallace and all other times at the home of Nancy and Tim.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be given in memory of Tim to Kingdom Builders, P.O. BOX 298, Wallace, NC 28466 or to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 or online at https://www2.heart.org.

To the family & friends of Tim, my heart aches for you. I knew him only through encounters at the store, but he was just as his obituary reads, a genuinely great gentleman. May he rest in peace as he leaves you all with wonderful memories of good times spent together.

Rest in Peace Timmy. I know you grew up to be a fine young man and a good Christian father. I will always remember you as my sister's cute little boy.

Tim was a wonderful friend and brother in the Lord. He was a true friend. Even in Tim’s condition he called and check on me after my heart surgery. He was a caring and loving man who truly loved the Lord. Nancy, the girls, and all of Tim’s Family are in our thoughts and prayers. Our loss is heavens gain. With love and prayers, Leo and Joan Bracken.
