Stephen O’Keith Lockamy, 30, of Atkinson, beloved daddy, fiancé, son, brother, nephew and friend has left this earth too soon. Stephen was a beautiful light who cast a beacon of love, laughter and genuine kindness to all who crossed his path. Stephen was born August 3, 1987 in Augusta, Georgia.

Stephen loved his family with all his heart. Loving being in God’s beautiful outdoors, he had a passion for fishing anytime and anyplace. His greatest gift was the joy he brought family and friends through his laughter with the warmth of his love and friendship he offered freely. May the happy and good memories of Stephen always remain in our hearts.

Our family has sweet memories of Stephen. His smile was infectious and his energy was fun. I have a picture of him with JonMichael and Jay out in the driveway playing in the mud. I had said when we came driving up the driveway to home that day that I remember playing in mud puddles when I was little. Next thing I knew I looked out of the house window and in their underwear were the boys covered in mud spraying each other with the water hose. Well, not quite what I had in mind, but I laughed hard with them.
We are so sorry for your loss and hope that peace soon comes.
