Alice Marie Choma (Conlon) was born in Brooklyn, NY on 12/18/56, but lived and died in Wilmington, NC on 1/25/18. She battled breast cancer in every way both traditional and alternative until her last day. Her loving family held her hand as she left this sweet earth.
It broke Alice’s heart to leave behind her cherished daughters, Katie Choma of Wilmington, NC and Maddie Choma of NYC, her sister, Ann Conlon-Smith (Shepherd Smith) and her nephews, Nicholas (Renee), Peter, Oliver, Sam, and Will Smith of Raleigh, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, Roman Choma, her parents, Florence and Walter Conlon and her nephew, Gregory Smith.
Alice found immeasurable joy in her backyard, her dogs, and her home filled with signs and sayings that created warmth and intimacy. Most important to Alice were her friends and the community she created. She loved to dance and brought joy to all events with her Irish smiling eyes and red hair! Alice cared for hundreds of patients as a home healthcare RN and ran a successful Airbnb in her home. Her grace, integrity and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

So very sorry for your loss. Letting go a loved one to death is very painful and hard to do. Death was never part of our Heavenly Father's plan. The Bible give hope. It says that our Heavenly Father will end suffering, pain and death. The hope of being reunited with our loved ones Revelation 21:4 Acts 5:28,29.
Psalm 34:18 Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.
