Magdaleno Bonilla Zapata, age 62, of Harrells left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Friday, December 29, 2017. As he departed this life he was surrounded by his devoted famiy and friends.
Magdaleno was born on March 20, 1955 in Olanchito, Honduras and was the son of the late Juan Bonilla and Berta Olivia Zapata.
He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Wallace.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife of Maria Marleni Portillo Escobar of the home; five children, Jarlin Bonilla and wife, Dalia, Darwin Bonilla, Gesly Bonilla and husband, Irlich Peña, Maity Bonilla and Jennifer Bonilla.
Magdaleno was a loving husband and caring father who loved his family dearly. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family. With a keen sense of humor and charitable spirit, he acquired enduring friendships that sustained him through the dark days of his illness. Magdaleno's family and friends are comforted knowing that he has moved on from this life to the fuller one with God through eternity. A man of great integrity, Magdaleno will be missed by all who knew him. Treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Selvin Espinoza and Pastor Salvador Argueta conducting the service.
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service for one hour at Christine Fellowship Church.
Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
