Billy Deleon Goff, age 64, of Wallace passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on December 16, 1954 in Wayne County and was the son of the late Lester and Agnes Walston Goff. He was also predeceased by his wife, Susan Rivenbark Goff; his sister Nancy Davis and nephew, James Allen Davis.
Billy is survived by his devoted brother, Kenneth Goff of Kinston; his loving sisters, Peggy Evans and husband, Jimmy of Pikeville, Patsy Edwards and husband, Preston and Bonnie Capps, all of Goldsboro; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Billy was a man who loved people and enjoyed being around others. He was founder and former owner/operator of Billy's Pork and Beef in Wallace where he acquired many friends throughout the years. Billy was a man who had a big heart for others; always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He never met a stranger and everybody loved him. Billy has left us way too soon and will surely be missed. Treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved Billy.

This is such sad news. Billy was such a kind person and his business a landmark in the Wallace community. He was a special friend to our entire family, going back many years before Mama and Daddy left this earth. Rest In peace Billy, you will be missed
all of our remaining years.

May I offer my sincere condolences. May your hearts find comfort in God's Word where it states: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) May your loved one awaken to a world where there will be peace, no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort in the wonderful hope found in the Bible, your family, friends and good memories at this time. My deepest sympathy to you.

My heart is broken, Billy was a dear and treasured friend. I knew him well over 30 years. There are to many good memories to put all of them down so I will just say what a kind, loving and generous person he was. Always a smile on his face and he made certain that everytime I went to the store that I got my cheese and cookies, he informed his staff that I was to get them even if he were not there. He was always giving me little things, pig skins etc. I always got a discount. He was worried about my health wanted me to gain weight. He would be so disappointed to know that I've lost almost 11lbs. in nine days. I'm glad he doesn't that I am sick with broncities, had it about three weeks now. I was blessed to see him on Dec.4th. Didn't know it would be my last time. I will never forget you Billy and you will live forever in my heart. My hearts goes out to the family. Rest in Peace my dear friend. I will always love you.
