Shirley, Cynthia and Patricia,
I am saddened that your mother has left this earth but she still lives in God's presence now. I remember the good times we had many years ago. She and your dad were like second parents to me and Frank. Time will heal the emptiness from your loss. You will be with me in my thoughts and prayers, always.

Melva will always be in my heart and most definitely my best memories. She put up with a lot of good times with Cynthia & I cutting up, but also making her laugh. She liked to fish as well as I do & we had some great times doing it. I live a thousand miles from her but she knew how much I loved her Pecan Pies & would make them and mail them to me. She is my Aunt and I can't tell you how much I will miss her. We all know where she is now, with God and in no more pain. I Love You Melva. Kathy

I was very blessed to have Melva as my friend. Her love for the Lord showed without her having to say it. I always think of her at this time of year especially. I always took her some fruit cake. She will surely be missed. She had a love for her family that was wonderful. My prayers and sympathy go out to you children and all the rest of the family.

Dear Cynthia and family, we are so sorry about Mrs. Melva. But, as we know, to be absent from the body is present with the Lord. She is no longer suffering but sleeping in the arms of Jesus. Your mother will remain in your heart forever, and we pray for comfort and a peace that passeth all understanding through this time of sadness and sorrow. We love you, and we’re only a phone call away.
