Carolyn Brinson Sullivan, age 70, of Hampstead left this life for her eternal rest on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
She was born March 12, 1947 in Duplin County and was the twin daughter of the late Hallie Thomas and Betty Virgina Barwick Brinson. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Jackie Evans, Bettie Mae Murray, James Dearl Brinson and Earl Thomas Brinson.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her twin sister, Marolyn Brinson Brock of Wallace and sister, Mary Jane Jones and husband, Kirby of Mt. Olive; her special niece, Debbie B. Carter of Wallace and numerous extended family and friends.
Carolyn was a loving sister and caring aunt and friend. She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family. Since childhood, Carolyn loved music and playing the piano. With an outstanding ear for music, she could hear a song and play it. Carolyn was a strong, courageous and yet gentle woman who brought out the good in all those who were near and dear to her. She will be missed but fond memories will forever be in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Carter Family Cemetery in Wallace.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be sent to Pet Friends of Duplin County, PO Box 152, Wallace, NC 28466.

Carolyn, I'm going to miss you. We had our ups and downs. But we always work things out. You were the other half of me, my twin sister. You will forever be in my heart and I will always LOVE you. Until me meet again, your other half, Marolyn
