I just heard of the passing of Essietelle, as I often and affectionately called her. Unfortunately, I heard too late to be at her service. I can still smell those pound cakes and cocoa cola cakes she made when were sick. And her collection of salt and pepper shakers she enjoyed telling where each set came from. And being in Sunday School with her, yes I remember that far back, she and mama and Mrs. Martha teaching us. Heaven truly gained an angel. Now Essietelle, you and mama can pick up where you left off.
