Everette Heath Spencer, age 50, of Wilmington passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born September 23, 1966 in Wilmington, North Carolina the son of the late Edward Everette Spencer Jr. and Brenda Jones Spencer.
Heath loved spending time on the beaches of North Carolina and could be found fishing or outdoors in his spare time. He was devoted to his family, their time was often spent having oyster roasts together and catching up with one another.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving fiancé, Amy Spann; son, Cameron Spencer and wife Samantha; daughters, Kacy Spencer and Shelbie Spencer; step sons, Jesse Spann and Troy Spann; step daughter, Amy Irvin; grandchildren, Keith, Mikaila, Carter, Amy “Sunshine” and David; Brother, Timothy Scott Spencer and wife Jennifer; nieces, Whitney and Sydney; nephews, Nicholas and Anthony; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Quinn McGowen Wilmington Chapel.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

So sorry for your loss. I grew up with Scott and Heath and remember playing tag football and eating oysters with them on Sundays. Prayers for peace for all of you. God bless.
