Celebrating the life of George Peter Perhala
Thank you for signing George Peter Perhala's Guestbook
I'm an old shipmate of George's from the USS James K. Polk SSBN 645. George was a Plank Owner, meaning that he participated in the boat's construction and was a crew member when it was commissioned (I think in 1965). I served on Polk from 1967 to 1969 and knew him to be a fine person, a capable shipmate, and a pleasure to work with. Rest in Peace, George.

Our prayers and love go out to you during this difficult time. George was such a dear sweet man, and I know you'll miss him, as will his children, grandchildren, greatgrands, and so many friends; I wish I'd had more time with him.

Mother and I are sending our sincerest condolences, and remembering George for his zest and generosity and especially for his (and your) many acts of kindness performed for Ruthie, who luckily was his neighbor for 20+ years. Patsy, we are thinking of you with love.

He gave the best hugs! And always loved his smile! Patsy, if only every marriage could be as sweet and loving as yours and George. God's peace prayed for you, my friend.
